Irn-Bru Division One
Victoria Park, Dingwall
Tuesday 13th March - 7.45pm
Ross County and Morton will be hoping it is third time lucky when they try to get the league game played at Victoria Park.
The game was originally scheduled for January, but the winter weather took it's toll and the game was cancelled. The game was re-scheduled for late February, but it suffered a late call off after heavy rain in the evening of the match made the pitch unplayable.
The good news is though, the weather forecast for this week is good, with mild temperatures and no rain forecast.
This is County last game in hand over second placed Falkirk. And while many 'non-County' people thought/hoped that the fixture back log would take it's toll on County, but it's had the opposite effect. Only two weeks ago (after a draw at Dundee) County were pegged back to their lead at the top of the table being on goal difference only. However in that two week period County have had four games, and have picked up the maximum 12 points - while our nearest rivals - Falkirk and Dundee - have only picked up one point each, meaning County's lead over Falkirk has stretched to 11 points. This game gives County the opportunity to build a 14 point gap ahead of the the top of the table clash against Falkirk on Saturday.
There are no fresh injury worries or suspensions for County ahead of this game, so it is very likely that Derek Adams will stay with the same starting eleven players and substitutes as he has in the last five games.
